Colombian international James Roriguez may see his last days at Spanish giants Real Madrid in the next few months as French manager Zinedine Zidane is reportedly not considering him in the club’s future plans.
The attacker joined Real Madrid in the aftermath of a great show at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and had a good first season, scoring 13 goals and managing a similar number of assists after a big money move from French side AS Monaco.
He has however failed to replicate the form this term under Rafa Benitez who was sacked earlier in the year while his situation has worsened under Zidane, who is reportedly unimpressed by the player’s attitude.
Spanish media reports that the Frenchman may be looking to cash in on his sale to fund the acquisition of long term target Eden Hazard who has also struggled at English champions Chelsea.
Real Madrid paid £63 million to prise him from the French side but it is highly unlikely that the Spanish giants will recoup the amount after his dramatic decline.
