Posta Rangers head coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno went to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) game against AFC Leopards with a win in mind after a fine start to the season but that never came to be.
The match, at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday 8 May ended in a barren draw and the coach says it was a worthy point and will embrace it, especially given his side was playing as the away team in the clash.
He termed it a good entertaining game though his only concern was the fact that his charges missed a lot of chances in the match and lauded AFC Leopards for the stiff opposition they presented to his team.
“It was a good game for the fans and I am disappointed because we lost about two to three clear chances but all in all it was a tough match. We haven’t had any resistance like that before in this league but I will take in the result considering we were playing as the away side.
“The blunt attack is an area we are working on continuously because football is all about repetition. We are not worried about it; one day it will come good,” he said.
