The Kenya national team head coach Bobby Williamson may well have seen his last days in the job after leading the team to the 2015 CECAFA Senior Challenge, where the team exited at the quarter final stage at the hands of Rwanda.
The coach had a meeting with the newly elected Football Kenya Federation (FKF) boss Nick Mwendwa on Monday 15 February and from the meeting it is reported that the coach was informed of his dismissal.
Heading to the meeting, the FKF boss had insisted that all the federation employees he found in place will stay on at least for the moment, with the only key appointments made in March.
“All the federation employees are still in place for now; I have met and spoken to several of them but I will be making three key appointments in March,” he said.
Bobby Williamson took over from Belgian Adel Amrouche in 2014 and has so far struggled to register positive results with the national team.
