West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is hoping to compete a loan deal for Nigerian international Emmanuel Emenike in the next couple of days but the gaffer admits the situation with the Nigerian is complicated.
Bilic wants the Nigerian striker, who has scored seven goals in 11 games for UAE side Al Ain this season, to boost his attacking options for the Premier League run-in.
According to the Hammers’ boss as quoted on Sky Sports;
“We are still waiting for that, it’s a complicated situation. Al Ain called me and basically we thought we could do a straight swap with them, but now we are talking to Fenerbahce, and we will see what happens.
“So at one moment it didn’t look good, but in last couple of days the deal is looks pretty much alive.” Said Bilic.
Emenike is no stranger to the West Ham Manager, who was managing in Russia with Lokomotiv Moscow as at the time the former Super Eagles forward was playing for rivals Spartak Moscow, and then when Bilic moved over to Turkey to manage Besiktas, Emenike with Emenike playing for Fenerbahce.
