Watford manager Quique Flores wants to make his side more competitive and he is eyeing to add three or four players in the January transfer window to provide competition for the likes of Odion Ighalo.
The Nigerian is current the top scorer for Hornets with eight goals in 14 premier league matches so far but the manager wants to keep the players on their toes with quality additions to boost their season.
Amazingly, Watford has already signed 13 players over the summer after winning the English championship and their brilliant showing so far has helped them to 11th spot on the log.
“If some players come it’s because they are close to playing or are ready to play at the first moment,” the manager told reporters.
“We have one list with three or four players. We are very clear what are the areas we need and it’s very important to be right because if not it’s better to keep like we are in this moment.”
Watford had an impressive 3-2 away win over struggling Aston Villa and will on Saturday host Norwich City at the Vicarage Road.
