Two goals inside three minutes from Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero saw Manchester City coming from a goal down to defeat Watford FC 1-2 in the last match of the day in the EPL on Saturday.
The visitors have been shaky in recent outings; with no win in their last six away games and it was looking like it will be another bad outing for Coach Manuel Pellegrini and his team when they found themselves at the back foot courtesy of an own goal from Alexander Kolarov.
The lead for Watford came ten minutes into the second half as Watson’s corner kick was helped into City’s net by Kolarov.
The Hornets held on to that slim lead until the 82nd minute when Yaya Toure secured the equalizer with yet another piece of brilliance.
The Ivorian latched in a first-time volley into the top corner when meeting a low set piece.
City were fired up with the equalizer and immediately went in search of a winner, which came from Argentine striker Aguero who planted a header from Bacary Sagna’s cross into the far corner for his first goal in his last five appearances.
With the vital away win, City has closed the gap with Arsenal at the top to just three points
