Kenya national team skipper Victor Wanyama has reiterated his call to the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to sort out its standoff with goalkeeper Arnold Origi so he may return to the team.
Origi missed the entire two legs of the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Mauritius as a standoff persisted over non refund of tickets he used to honor the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Zambia on Sunday 6 September in Nairobi.
Origi revealed that there is a calculated plot to see him out of the team after asking or the refund and vowed never to feature for the team again but after securing a ticket to the second round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, Wanyama said the team needs Origi.
“I really think he should come in because it is going to be very tough against Cape Verde. They are not an easy team.
“We need to have our strongest team in and those responsible should ensure right things are done in the right time so that everyone is in and we are prepared well,” he told 366football.com.
