Manchester City Captain Vincent Kompany got himself injured during the semifinal second leg tie against Real Madrid and may miss the weekend clash against Arsenal in the premier league.
The 30-year-old lasted just ten minutes in the encounter at the Bernabeu and was replaced by French defender Eliaquim Mangala.
Kompany has been plagued by calf injury this season which has limited him to just 20 starts in all competitions so far this season.
Manchester City conceded exactly ten minutes after the Belgian left the pitch as Real Madrid struck through former Tottenham Hotspur wing Gareth Bale who hammered a right foot shot into the top corner of Joe Hart’s goal.
Kompany may miss the remainder of the season and the latest injury also casts doubt over his involvement at Euro 2016 this summer.
