On-loan Chelsea star Victor Moses has given real reasons why he opted out of the double friendly ahead of the Super Eagles against Cameroon and Congo.
Moses was initially understood to have pulled out of the double-header billed for Belgium in order to avoid injuries; an excuse many say was flimsy and unpatriotic.
However the versatile forward who currently plays with West Ham said he is actually not fully fit that was why he opted out of the high profile games ahead of the Super Eagles.
Aside stating why he won’t be available for the games against Congo and Cameroon, Moses also took time out to reiterate his full commitment to the national team and Nigeria as a whole.
“Unfortunately I’m not fully fit and so can’t go with Nigeria this week but want to say I’m proud to be Nigerian and love my country” Moses Monday wrote on his twitter handle.
He added: “I will always give 100% whenever I play for my country and thanks for all your support”
Victor Moses 24, has so far featured 24 times for the Super Eagles scoring 7 times in the process.
