Robin Van Persie is set for a sensational return to England as he has been offered to West Ham and Crystal Palace, reports The Sun.
The former Manchester United and Arsenal striker wants a return to England after just a season in Turkey with Fenerbahce, and it is believed he has already been offered to both Premier League clubs with a view to sealing a deal this summer.
His representatives have offered him around to numerous clubs but the Dutch star is believed to want to move his family back to London.
Fenerbahce president Azil Yildirim said earlier this week: “Van Persie? We’re waiting for buyers, if he wants to be sold.”
Van Persie joined the Turkish league runners-up for £4m and it is thought he would cost around the same this summer.
West Ham and Palace are both looking for a striker after missing out on Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi.
Chelsea were considering a surprise move for him in January when looking for another forward but they went for Alexandre Pato instead.
Van Persie made 45 appearances for Fenerbahce last season and scored 20 goals after joining them from United.
He started his career at Feyenoord before moving to Arsenal in 2004.
Van Persie then moved to Manchester United in 2012 where he won the Premier League title and scored 48 goals in 86 appearances.
