Spanish side Valencia has confirmed the swoop for Fernebahce and Portugal winger Luis Nani.
The winger is currently in France with the Portuguese national team preparing for the semi final of the Euros against Wales but the club has stated on its official website that the player has agreed to a three – year deal.
“Valencia Club de Futbol have reached an agreement with Portuguese international Luis Carlos Almeida – ‘Nani’ – for the player to join the club for the next three seasons,” the club said on its website.
Nani had the best time of his playing career in England with Manchester United.
Having won four Premier League titles and the Champions League at Old Trafford, he left for Turkey in 2015. He made 46 appearances for Fenerbahce last season, scoring 12 goals as the club finished second in the Turkish Super Lig.
Stoke City had also expressed interest in the 29 – year old.
