Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giants Gor Mahia ‘s search for a first win of the year continues after playing to a barren draw with Ulinzi Stars FC in the Thursday 3 March league clash at the Afraha Stadium.
Gor Mahia, fresh from the CAF Champions League ouster by Madagascan champions CNaPS, hoped for some domestic comforts.
However, the team found an astutely defending Ulinzi Stars side waiting for them in Nakuru.
It called on good reflexes from both keepers, Jerim Onyango for Gor Mahia and James Saruni of Ulinzi Stars to keep the sheets clean.
Nevertheless, the champions will be more aggrieved with the result, having pulled three draws in three games so far in the season.
Ulinzi Stars on the other hand, kept their clean slate in the season; the military side is the only team so far that has not conceded a goal after three rounds of matches.
Gor Mahia suffered a setback in defender Bernard Odhiambo, being withdrawn with a hamstring injury on his first league start in over a year.
