Nigerian striker Anthony Ujah was the hero yet again for his struggling Bundesliga outfit, Werder Bremen as he netted the solitary goal that earned them a point in their 1-1 draw away to Stuttgart on Sunday.
Dubbed a relegation battle of some sort, Stuttgart got the opener in the 33rd minute when Lukas Rupp found the back of the net after an excellent pass from Filip Kostic.
Stuttgart continued their dominance from then into the second half, but clear chances were few and indeed far between.
However, there was a turnaround for the visitors in the 71st minute as Ujah continued his superb goal scoring form as he converted from close range to leave the score at 1-1 with 20 minutes left.
It was the second goal for Ujah in as many games and his seventh of the season for his struggling team.
Interestingly, Bremen were actually gifted a golden chance to win the game in the 85th minute, but Levin Oztunali could only rattle the crossbar from inside the box, before Felix Wiedwald kept out Timo Werner at the other end.
The result has left Stuttgart in 17th position in the table, while the visitors remain 15th
