Ugandan duo of Ushuru keeper Ali Kimera and Musa Mudde, along with Victor Ayugi will not be eligible to feature for their teams on the second week of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) in the matches scheduled for Saturday 20 – Monday 22 February across the nation.
The three picked red cards on the opening week of KPL action.
Kimera who turns out for Ushuru FC, head butted Sofapaka striker Oscar Oketch in the team’s opening game at the Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos and was shown a straight red card, ruling him out of the game against Thika United.
Sony Sugar FC defender Victor Ayugi was sent off after a deliberate handball landed him a second yellow card in the match against Ulinzi Stars and will miss the Monday 22nd February clash with AFC Leopards.
Bandari’s Mudde will also be ineligible on the weekend having been sent off in the Thursday 18th February clash pitting his team, Bandari FC against Nairobi City Stars at the Nyayo National Stadium and as a result will miss the clash against the newly promoted side Kakamega Homeboyz at the Mbaraki Sports Club.
