Ghana star Andre Ayew is set to complete a move to West Ham for a reported £16millio a year after joining Swansea for free from Olympique Marseille.
According to Sun, the Hammers have made the offer for the Ghanaian and Swans supremo Huw Jenkins will accept the surprise windfall.
Ayew was linked with West Ham last summer when his deal ran out at Marseille but they refused to pay his wage demands. Now Slaven Bilic’s side will give Ayew about £75,000 a week to add variety to their attack.
Ayew is open to the move after losing some of his form when new Swans boss Francesco Guidolin changed their style of play. The Welsh club are happy to make a massive profit — with Jenkins keen to reinvest immediately.
Guidolin has his eye on Barcelona wide man Cristian Tello, 24, and could now offer cash after having a loan move snubbed.
