Russian club CSKA Moscow look set to deny Ahmed Musa a move from Russia to the Premier League after reports from England suggest that Leicester City have reportedly failed with their latest bid to sign the Nigeria captain.
The Foxes have made two earlier bids to bring in Musa to bolster their squad but The Mirror reports that Leicester’s third bid of around £19m which was expected to meet Moscow’s valuation has been knocked back by the Russian club
Musa who presently is 23-year-old has also been the subject of reported interest from Manchester United and Liverpool this month but all that may turn a mirage.
Musa, who is under contract in the Russian capital until summer 2019, has scored six goals in 18 appearances this season.
Interestingly, Musa’s strike partner, Seydou Doumbia has made a move to England where he has joined relegation-haunted Newcastle United.
