As a sign of goodwill and obedience to the rules, Real Madrid have announced that three of four of club manager Zinedine Zidane will be left out of the club’s plans for the weekend.
Real Madrid were handed a transfer ban for two windows starting summer 2016 over flouting rules regulating the transfer of players under 18 years and it is thought three of Zidane’s sons are among the eight players in question.
As reported by Goal.com, Los Blancos wrote to FIFA requesting for the headway concerning the three but since no communication has been forthcoming, the Madrid side have decided to play it safe and only Enzo will be used on the weekend.
Luca, Theo and Elyaz Zidane currently play in the club’s youth divisions as under-18s and have attracted attention following the punishment for the irregular signing of minors by the club.
Enzo and Luca joined Real Madrid in 2004, with Zinedine then still a player, while Theo and Elyaz began life at the Santiago Bernabeu after he had taken up a coaching position.
