The 17th week of the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) will be getting underway this weekend with eight matches evenly spread across the two days, on Saturday 9 – Sunday 10 July.
Three matches though, have had changes in venues effected with the first of them being the Saturday clash pitting AFC Leopards against Thika United which was initially scheduled to be played at the Nyayo National Stadium but has been moved to the Mumias Sports Complex.
The other match venue shifted involves the game pitting Posta Rangers against City Stars. Initially listed for the Ruaraka Stadium on Sunday, the match will now be moving to the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru and is scheduled to start at 2pm, being the first of a double header at the stadium.
The third match will be the one featuring defending champions Gor Mahia against Kakamega Homeboyz at the Moi Stadium Kisumu on Sunday. The match was initially listed to be played in Nairobi at the Nyayo National Stadium.
The other matches stay as initially listed; Sofapaka will be traveling to Nyanza to take on Chemelil Sugar as Ulinzi Stars play host to Tusker in Nakuru while title contenders Mathare United will be touring Kisumu to play Western Stima as Muhoroni Youth hosts Sony Sugar.
