France midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has hailed the work ethic of Manchester United teammate Anthony Martial who shone during the international friendly win against Armenia.
The 19-year-old who joined the Red Devils at the summer from AS Monaco began his Old Trafford career with a bang – scoring a superb solo goal against Liverpool on his debut and has maintained a high level performance in all his games so far.
Martial who came on as substitute in the match against Armenia did not score as goals from Antoine Griezmann, Yohan Cabaye, and a double from Real Madrid star Karim Benzema handed France a 4-0 win.
However, Schneiderlin is happy with his United’s teammate and believes that fans will benefit from the work ethic of the youngster.
“He is the same player in Manchester as he is here, he has the same qualities,” Schneiderlin told reporters.
“This is someone who has a good head on his shoulders, he does not let it go to his head. He’s always got the same good humour and the same desire to work.”
Martial has scored four goals in seven appearances for the Manchester United this season so far.
