Wilfried Zaha may be forced to sit out the FA Cup final against Manchester United, according to manager Alan Pardew.
Pardew said at a press conference today that the 23-year-old was struggling with a hamstring strain and may struggle to be fit in time for the Wembley showpiece against his former club.
“Wilf still has a problem that will still keep him out for this weekend,” Pardew told reporters. “Hopefully he’ll be okay for the final. Wilf’s a naturally fit guy.
“He actually did the injury before the semi-final. We scanned him on the Monday afterwards and saw there’s a slight tear there.
“We can’t take a risk with him, it really is about risk his injury. There’s no way he can play this weekend (against Stoke), but he could possibly play at Southampton (on the final day of the Premier League season).”
Crystal Palace are currently placed 16th on the premier league log with 39 points.
