Anglo-Nigerian forward Dominic Solanke has sensationally been likened to Swede striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Making the comparison is former Vitesse Arnhem defender Ferdi Vierklau who submits that the Chelsea loanee has some traits similar to the PSG danger man.
Solanke 18, has three goals in eight appearances since joining the Eredivisie side on a season-long loan deal in the summer and Vierklau said that among other things, he is impressed with the way that Solanke can score goals with his individual skill.
“He’s clinical. Sometimes, with the most impossible balls he knows how to do something beautiful from nothing,” Goal.com quotes him as saying.
“In that way, he is reminiscent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He’s only 18-years-old and already doing so well. I expect he will only play one season as Chelsea will take him back and may want to loan him to an English club.”
Chelsea have also sent youth prospects Isaiah Brown, Nathan, Danilo Pantic and Lewis Baker to Vitesse on loan deals.
