Tusker FC and Posta Rangers will face off in the last of the quarter final matches of the GOtv Shield on Wednesday 28 September, this has been confirmed by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
The match, which was delayed due to a petition filed by Posta Rangers following an earlier ruling by the FKF to disqualify the team, will now be played at the Kasarani Stadium, starting at 3pm.
The match will be staged at the Moi International Sports Center (MISC) Kasarani starting 3pm EAT as confirmed by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
Rangers had been dismissed from the competition after allegedly using an ineligible player – John Nairuka – in the first round, when the team beat Timsales FC.
With the successful appeal, Rangers was cleared to play Ushuru FC and Agrochemicals in the second and third round and Tusker’s game will be the final of their catch up matches.
The semi final stage of the competition is scheduled for Saturday 1 and 2 October then the final will be on 20th October.
The winner will get the chance to represent Kenya in the CAF Confederations Cup.
