Nigerian midfielder, Joel Obi is set for a showdown with his former club Inter Milan as Torino FC heads to San Siro for the midweek Serie A clash away to Inter Milan.
It is an emotional return for Obi who virtually learned the ropes with the Nerazzurri from a tender age but many expect him to put his emotions under check and go for vital points in the highly anticipated clash.
“This year, I feel very good and the team had a great preparation and I’m trying to make my contribution as well.
“The game will be emotional for me but obviously, Torino’s intention is to get the three points again and we will try from the kick-off until the final whistle,” he told internazionale.fr.
Obi has featured seven times in the Serie A this term for Torino added: “When I was little, I supported Inter, but tomorrow (Wednesday night) it will be a great match for me. I would give anything, because it’s a game we want to win.
“I thank Inter for allowing me to grow, and at all levels.” The midfielder concluded.
