Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has increased his goals tally in the Russian Premier League to seven as he fired CSKA Moscow to victory in the Moscow derby on Sunday; scoring the only goal in the hard-earned 1-0 win over Spartak Moscow.
The victory help preserved CSKA’s three-point gap at the top of the Russian Premier League table
Musa scored what turned out to be the only goal in the derby clash in the 11th minute to increase his goals tally in the League for the season to seven goals.
The fleet-footed front-man played the full game whereas new signing and compatriot Aaron Samuel watched the entire proceedings from the bench.
Musa is in the 42-man squad invited by interim Super Eagles Coach Samson Siaisa for the AFCON qualifiers double-header against Egypt later this month
