Posta Rangers FC is all set for a return to top flight football after two years in the cold and the team has bolstered its ranks in line with the new status with the signing of former Kenyan international Jockins Atudo from Tusker.
Apart from Atudo, the team has also roped in Thika United duo of goalkeeper Levis Opiyo and right back Simon Mbugua. The three took part in the team’s friendly match against Kariobangi Sharks earlier today.
The Rangers coach Zedekiah Otieno says he signed the three to add experienced heads in his team and backed them to do well when the team graces the top flight and he adds that he will still go for more of such.
“We are heading to a tougher league and we realized we need to strengthen the team with players who have premier league experience and these three will be really helpful in that area.
“We still need to strengthen other departments and in due course we will be signing more players,” he said.
Rangers will be joined by Kakamega Homeboyz in the top flight.
