Sharks FC’s fight for survival in the Nigeria Premier League this season will no longer continue on their home ground in the Port Harcourt as the Blue Angels have been banished away to Enugu.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) disciplinary committee ruled that Sharks will play their next three home matches in the Nigerian top-flight at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu starting with Sunday’s game against relegation-troubled Kwara United.
There was however reprieve for the Blue Angels as the disciplinary committee struck out an earlier decision by the League Management Company (LMC) that Sharks have three points docked from their already accrued point.
Unfortunately, for the troubled match, three points and three goals were awarded to Nasarawa United due to Sharks failure to complete the match in Lafia.
The Port Harcourt based team will also be coughing out N5m as fine to the LMC.
