Seattle Sounders forward Obafemi Martins will lead 18 other Super Eagles players against Westerlo Football Academy in Wednesday’s Winners Golden Bet All Stars game ‎in Lagos organisers of the event has revealed to

‎The 10th edition of the All Stars will also see the likes of Taye Taiwo, Lukman Haruna, Izunna Uzochukwu, Slyvester Igboun, Nnamdi Oduamadi in action.

Martins confirmed his participation to via sms which reads: “I’ll be coming with my friends for the game on Wednesday.”

It will be the first time the former Levante and Rubin Kazan star will be featuring in the game and he says it’s about the Lagos fans who have backed him over the years.

“They have supported me so it’s time to give back,” he added.

Haruna also informed that he hopes they make the 10th anniversary of the game a memorable one for the academy.

“They’ve improved from what I’ve seen in recent times and that’s with teams in Nigeria all coming for them and that shows the ‎level improvement.”

‎Other players expected to feature include Michael Odibe,‎ Nurudeen Orelesi, Rasheed Olabiyi, Asisat Oshoala, Onome Ebi, Yusuf Ayila.

‎Ramon Azeez, Sarki Emmanuel, Michael Babatunde, Ezekiel Imoh, Razak Omotoyosi, Moses Simon, Taiwo Awoniyi and Dele Ajiboye.

Former Super Eagles skipper Nwankwo Kanu also confirmed that he willl be attending the game as a guest.
