Newly promoted Barclays Premier League side Hull City has completed the signing of Ryan Mason who joins the Tigers from Tottenham Hotspurs.
Hull City, sponsored by Kenyan betting company SportPesa, did not reveal the financial details of the deal but declared he has been signed on a club record fee and handed a three year deal.
The Tigers’ previous record signing was the £10m they paid Italian side Palermo for striker Abel Hernandez on deadline day in September 2014 and Mason revealed his pleasure at sealing the deal.
“I’m delighted and excited to be here. I can’t wait to get started and I see this as a massive opportunity for me,” he told the club website.
Mason has been capped once for the England national team and he will be looking to improve well at the team to add to his one cap.
Meanwhile, the club has also signed Manchester United youngster Will Keane on a three year deal which sees him reunited with caretaker boss Mike Phelan whom he served with while at Old Trafford.
