After his quiet official debut in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Hibs, Nigerian striker, Abiola Dauda made a blistering start in the League where he netted twice in Hearts 0-3 away win over Ross County
Dauda needed just 30 minutes to show his worth after coming in as a replacement for Arnaud Sutchuin Djoum in the league tie.
The Nigerian striker made his presence count with two late strikes in the 86th and 89th minutes to seal the win for Hearts.
A rather scrappy goal from Jamie Walker in the 52nd minute set the tone for Hearts on the night before added two more late on to seal victory.
Though it was Dauda that grabbed the headlines, Super Eagles left-back Juwon Oshaniwa was also in action for Hearts as he featured for 90 minutes and helped his side keep a clean sheet.
Dauda is presently on loan at Hearts from Dutch side Vitesse and his efforts now leave Hearts 11 points behind the Dons and 11 points above County.
