Conte warns Chelsea players not to disrespect him

Conte wins first game

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has warned his players that he will ‘kill them’ if they ever disrespects him.

The Italian was appointed Blues manager after he guided the Azzurri’s to a semi-final finish at the Euro 2016 tournament held in France and has so far recorded three wins and a draw in the premier league as he looks to guide the Roman Abramovic army back to the UEFA Champions League.

However, from his time with Juventus, Conte is known for his strict disciplinary measures and he is not ready to relax it now at Stamford Bridge.

‘From my experience as a footballer, I think this is the right way to manage a changing room,’ Conte told Sky Sports when asked about his strict management style.

‘I think that when I start a season, I speak with my players and I always talk about education and respect.

‘And I demand this, but I give this.

‘And if someone does not have a good attitude during the training session, or good behaviour in a different circumstances, I prefer to kill him than have 22 players.

‘Because I repeat, from my experience as a footballer, if a manager closes his eyes, he does not want to see the bad situation and he loses the changing room.’

Chelsea will later tonight host Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in their first Friday night fixture of the premier league season.
