Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continued his amazing form in front of goal as he netted a hat-trick against Qabala in the Europa Cup Group C match played this evening.
The Dortmund star put them in front on the hour mark when he curled in an effort into the top corner of the net to make it his to make it 12 goals in 12 games so far this season. He did not however stop there as he fired again past Dmytro Bezotosniy in goal for Qabala after a swift one-two with former Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa.
At this point the visitors were in cruise control and added an icing on the cake with the third goal – Aubameyang tapped in from close range after Sven Bender’s shot was pushed into his path by the keeper.
The home side scored a late consolation but it counted for nothing as Thomas Tuchel’s side extended their lead on top of the log to ten points.
