Chelsea have completed the resigning of David Luiz from PSG, the English club have announced.
Luiz, 29, was sold by Chelsea to PSG in 2014 for £50m in what remains the most expensive deal for a defender, but after just two years in the French capital, the Brazilian has now completed a return to London.

Antonio Conte had tried to sign a couple of other defenders this summer, but didn’t get as lucky as he would have hoped and he sanctioned a £32m deal to lure Luiz back to Stamford Bridge. Former Blues boss Jose Mourinho sold Luiz to the French champions in a world record deal for a defender after he reportedly grew frustrated with the Brazilians erratic style of play, but the club have now made a dramatic u-turn in securing his services for the second time.
