There are no injury concerns in the camp of the Super Eagles as they get set for Monday’s CHAN 2016 group opener against Les Mena of Niger, team coordinator, Pascal Patrick has informed fcnaija.com.
The Nigerians play their Nigerien counterparts at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo on Monday, 5pm Nigerian time in their first game of the tournament, and despite earlier concerns, Patrick says all the players are fit and ready for selection for Monday’s game.
“We have no injury worries at the moment as all the players are fit and they are all ready for selection for our game tomorrow,” said Patrick.
The 41-year old Patrick, himself a former Nigeria international, also said the players have stated their readiness for the game against Niger.
“The camp is cool and everybody is happy and I can tell you that they are ready for the match against Niger,” added. Patrick.
Meanwhile, in the first game of the competition, hosts Rwanda pipped Cote d’Ivoire 1-0 while Morocco and Gabon played out a goalless draw.
