Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder John Ogu has lavished praises on Liverpool’s Nigerian youngster Ovie Ejaria following his recent showing for the Reds in a game against Chelsea.
The 18-year-old spent nine years in North London with Arsenal’s youth academy before signing for Liverpool in 2014 and he is showing great potential under Jurgen Klopp in Liverpool’s pre-season so far.
And one of his biggest fan is Super Eagles midfielder, Ogu, who is currently the best foreign player in the Israeli top flight.
“So I was watching the replay of your game against Chelsea last night @oejaria .I am proud of you. You too good,” Ogu tweeted.
The 28-year-old had previously lavished praises on the lanky midfielder and his improvement so far has been a great testimonial to that fact.
Hopefully, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will convince him to represent the country in the International level before England swoop in like they did with Dele Alli and Gabriel Agbonlahan in the past.
