OB Odense forward Uzochukwu Izunna says he is delighted after he completed his first 90minutes since coming back from injury.
The 26-year-old went straight into the starting line-up against Esbjerg but was unable to help his side to an ambitious first win of the season as they succumbed to a 3-2 defeat in the six-week old Danish league.
Although the results didn’t go his club’s way Izunna believes they will kick on strong for the remaining matches of the season and the Nigerian is happy with his fitness level.
Asked how he felt to be back, he said: “Yes, it feels good to be back but I’m still hungry for more and want get better in some aspects of my game as I believe that I can still do better.”
He continued:”Unfortunately, we lost our match against Esbjerg which was cruel as I felt that we deserved at least a point but I feel we’ll bounce back to winning ways next week.”
OB Odense is currently placed eighth on the Danish league log with seven points and will face Horsens at the weekend.
