Ghana goalkeeper coach Nassam Yakubu is optimistic that there won’t be problems with the return of Adam Kwarasey for the Black Stars.

Due to their issues with one another during the 2014 Fifa World Cup, there were question marks over relations in the next camp.

Kwarasey had only played in Ghana’s 2-1 loss to USA, but not against Germany or Portugal.

“Kwarasey has been invited,” Yakubu told Focus FM.

“I am a professional and I’m not the only one that observes in camp.

“The message is, they [Black Stars goalkeepers] are all very good so if such a situation arises, it would be dealt with appropriately.”

Kwarasey is on form in Major League Soccer, with 12 clean sheets in 29 matches for Portland. Other options Razak Brimah and Fatau Dauda haven’t impressed recently.

“I have a very good working relationship with him [Kwarasey].

“It boils down to the fact that he was not picked for a particular match which he expected to be picked.

“It’s normal with everybody when you are expecting to be picked and you’re not picked. I would look unprofessional if I take that to heart.”

Ghana’s next game is against Canada in an international friendly in Washington, USA on October 13.
