Nakuru AllStars are the newest recipient of the Sportpesa millions after the club and betting company sealed a sponsorship deal to commence at the start of the second tier season.
The deal which will be unveiled soon will see AllStars sponsored to a tune of Sh10million a year which will grow by 20% in 2017 and afterwards increase by 5% each year.
The contract will last for five years as confirmed by the AllStars CEO Robert Muthomi who said it will go a long way in aiding the club settle its financial obligations.
“I can confirm that we have agreed a sponsorship agreement with Sportpesa which will run for the next five years beginning this season. We are very happy because as a club, we have struggled financially for quite some time and this will help us settle the players’ salaries and other allowances as we eye a return to top flight football,” Robert Muthomi, said.
