Sharks swoop for Ng’ang’a

FKF Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks has offered former Tusker FC defender Dennis Ng’ang’a a home after the left back was dropped by the Brewers following a poor 2015 season in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).

Popularly known as Baggio, the defender has been offered a three year contract at the club and head coach Michael Amenga is convinced that the youngster will be a great addition to the team as it aspires for greatness.

“My aim is to bolster the team with players who have premier league experience but are also young and I believe that Baggio is one such player,” he said.

Baggio featured in the team’s friendly match against Posta Rangers on Wednesday and though Amenga opined that he was short on fitness, he has backed the youngster to do well for the team next season.

He said he will still be looking to boost the team with a goalkeeper and a few more outfield players as he eyes a better 2016 season.

He earlier roped in Kakamega Homeboyz keeper Phillip Odhiambo but admits he will still be signing another experienced keeper.
