Muho gunning for a strong end to the season

GOtv Shield

Muhoroni Youth FC turned their season to the good with a great second leg after a poor show in the first half of the year. The reason for their resurgence was the arrival of Ugandan coach Paul Nkata who saw the team lose just one league game in the second leg.

The team, however, suffered elimination from the GOtv Shield at the semi final stage at the hands of Bandari FC but they can still give the season a strong finish when they take on the other losing semi finalists Gor Mahia in the third place playoff.

Team Manager Michael Odongo says they are ready for the clash on Sunday 13 December at the Nyayo National Stadium and they will be looking to sign off on a high.

“We have been training for this game and we are ready. We want to end the season on a high and this game provides the best chance for that. We will be in Nairobi tomorrow in time for the match and though we know it will not be an easy tie, we will give our best for a win,” he said.

The match is scheduled to start at 1pm before paving way for the final pitting Bandari against Nakumatt FC.
