Tunisian side, Esperance are interested in the services of Nigerian hotspot Chisom Chikatara following his mind-blowing performances at the ongoing CHAN tournament in Rwanda.
The Abia Warriors star has been the star of the Nigerian side with his four goals in two matches so far after starting as a substitute in the first game against Niger where he came on for Sunshine forward Tunde Adeniji and scored hat-trick in the 4-1 win.
Espearance are noted for having Nigerian players as the likes of Julius Efosa Aghahowa, Michael Eneramo and recently Bernard Bulbwa and former Dolphins topshot Emem Eduok donning the team’s colours.
It will be interesting to see if the Nigerian will join the Tunisian based team or remain in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) with Abia Warriors. Chikatara helped Nigeria to the top of Group C with his fourth goal of the tournament in the 1-1 draw against Tunisia on Friday.
