Manchester United’s Dutch manager Louis van Gaal ready for more transfer business

Manchester United are already looking forward to business in the January transfer window where they are believed to be lining up a swoop for Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi, according to a report.

The Mirror claims that United boss Louis van Gaal has outlined the Dutchman as his top defensive target in January to replace Argentina international Marcos Rojo, who he intends to ship out from Old Trafford soonest.

It is an open secret that relationship between Rojo and Van Gaal has broken down over the last few months due to the sale of Angel di Maria, and the 64-year-old has signalled his intent to move on from the defender.

As a result, United will swoop for Martins Indi when the transfer window reopens in January, reports The Mirror.

Martins Indi is no stranger to the LVG philosophy having played under Van Gaal in his time in charge of the Netherlands national team.
