Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has poked fun at the referee that officiated the Yobo testimonial played last Friday.
Enyeama joined the likes of four-time African Player of the Year Samuel Eto’o, Austin Okocha, Chidi Odia, Mutiu Adepoku, Ahmed Musa, Alfred Chukwundukwe, Efe Ambrose, Godfrey Oboabona, Danny Shittu, Emmanuel Emenike, Kanu Nwankwo, Sulley Muntari, AY the comedian, Dele Ayenugba, Stephen Appiah, Ben Iroha, Lomana Lualua, Joel Obi, Shehu Dikko, Ogbonnaya Kanu amongst others to honour Yobo.
The game itself ended 5-4 in favour of Team Nigeria over the rest of the world and Yobo scored for both side but his first goal against Enyeama didn’t cross the line as the Lille shotstooper looked to have pulled off a fantastic save.
The referee felt otherwise as he gave the goal which prompted Enyeama’s tweet: ‘Oh my God, just like magic. Vinny, how did you do that? Referee needs new eye medication. #YoboTestimonialMatch.
Enyeama has just been handed a two-year contract extension at French side Lille.
