Kenyan international Lawrence Olum who plies his trade in the United States top flight netted his first goal of the season on Sunday 17 April but his team still fell short, losing 1 – 2 to FC Dallas at the Toyota Stadium in Frisco.
The loss was Olum’s side’s second on the trot and third in the last five matches as the team’s slip continue after a fine start to the season.

Olum is on his second stint at the club after having left after four years in 2014 to join Malaysian side Kedah FA before returning at the start of the current campaign.
He scored his first MLS goal since 2014, to put Sporting Kansas City ahead on the 22nd minute, heading in Benny Feilhaber’s corner, but FC Dallas drew level 13 minutes later through Michael Barrios and second-half substitute Mauro Rosales then curled home a free kick in the 68th minute to see his team claim all the spoils.
With the loss, SKC dropped to fourth place on 12 points while FC Dallas went top with 17 points.
