Liverpool fans have reportedly told Jurgen Klopp to select Ivorian star Kolo Toure and Nigerian born Jordon Ibe as part of the German’s starting line-up against Rubin Kazan in Thursday’s UEFA Europa League clash at Anfield.
Europa League teams can be hard to select at the best of times, but the arrival of Klopp along with a continuing injury list makes it an even more difficult task.
In a pool conducted by British tabloid Liverpool Echo, supporters were asked for their own teams as the Reds face the Russian outfit in the Europa match day three encounter.
According to the report, Toure was arguably the biggest surprise, while the majority would like to see Ibe given a chance wide on the right rather than James Milner.
All in all, the fans want three changes from the squad that started against Tottenham Hotspur – but, Ibe accepted, there is no room for some of the younger stars.
It remains to be seen if the youngster who played three games in five days for the England U21 will be fit enough to face the group B bottom placed side.
