Kenneth Omeuro uploaded a video of fans chanting his name as he landed the Turkish airport to resume his loan deal with an undisclosed club.
The Super Eagles defender spent last season on loan at modest side Kasımpaşa where he made 25 appearances in a very successful season on a personal front.
However, he received a huge shock on his return to London as new manager Antonio Conte snubbed him and failed to register him for the new season meaning he will have to play with the reserves or be shipped out on loan.
The later was the case and the Nigerian is delighted with the opportunity of playing regular football even if it means away from Chelsea.
Omeruo wrote as caption for the video he posted on instagram: “This guys was amazing.. Came to the airport as early as 3am to wait for my arrival back to turkey.. Most of them I don’t even know.. I love you guys and will never forget this ♥️♥️♥️♥️ even my god daughter came to welcome me…”
No official announcement on the Turkish club he is about to sign with but it is believed that Alanyaspor are ahead of Beşiktaş in the race to snap him up before the transfer window closes today.
