Portuguese club snap up cameroonian defender


Cameroon youngster defender Joyskim Dawa has joined Portugal outfit Gil Vicente FC from French club AS Monaco.

The 6’4ft centre-half who’s had spells at OGC Nice, US Avranches and Rennes in France joins the Gilistas on a two and half years deal.

Confirming Dawa’sĀ arrival at the club, the Roosters who compete in Portugal’s second-tier (LigaPro) in a statement said: “Gil Vicente FC of Portugal is delighted to announce that Joyskim Dawa has completed his transfer from French club AS Monaco FC France.”

The Cameroon international who was born in France is strong, good in the air, intelligent and a good reader of the game.
