Bagoole reports Sofapaka to KPL

Uganan midfielder Johnson Bagoole has written to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) reporting KPL side Sofapaka after the club defaulted on the player’s dues amounting to nine months in the year 2015.

The midfielder, through his representative, Simon Peter Musoke is requesting the league managers to compel the club to pay dues amounting to US$ 18,700 which is approximately Kshs 19 million.

The player is out of contract at the team and it is highly unlikely that he will renew his deal after three years at the team.

Below is the full letter.

The above mentioned player has officially concluded his two year contract with Sofapaka and has served to the best of his ability. We however seek your help and guidance as regards the payment of his outstanding monthly dues equaling to a period of nine months (USD 10 800). Plus USD 2900 as balance on his signing fees. The sub-total therefore is USD 13 700 (approximately Kshs. 1.4 million)

We also bring to your attention another unpaid amount for contract extension of USD 5 000 which also was not paid. It is therefore my USD 18 700 ((approximately Kshs. 1.9 million) and the acquisition of his official Letter of Release from the club because we can no longer work under each circumstances.

I will be glad when my player gets all the necessary help and a positive response from your good office.

Yours respectively

Musoke Simon Peter
