Hours after key midfielder Joseph Kuria was confirmed to have dumped Thika United for Ulinzi Stars, the Kiambu County Side has lost another midfielder in Jackson Macharia, who has decamped to join Tusker FC.
The dreadlocked midfielder was out of contract at Thika United and after a fine season, he was sure to attract a lot of interest from other clubs.
Tusker has won the race for the 21 year old midfielder who has been handed a three year deal at the Ruaraka based side where he will compete for a starting berth against Humphrey Mieno, Brian Osumba, Anthony Ndolo and Cersidy Lumumba.
Machari joined Thika United straight from High School in 2011 and was among the shining players in the 2011 KPL U19 tournament as Thika United went on to win the inaugural edition.
Capped five times for the Kenyan junior team, the player will bring sizeable experience to Tusker and will be hoping for another good season in 2016.
