Muhoroni Youth chairman Moses Adagala has been cleared by the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) management after reports that a number of his guards had roughed up his players in an incident that occurred over the international break.
The chairman was tasked to explain himself to the KPL Executive Committee after the reports, but he managed to convince the committee that it was a small misunderstanding that has since been sorted internally.
Assured that the team’s players had resumed training after their boycott earlier in the week, the KPL felt there was no cause to continue pursuing the matter.
“Adagala was at the executive committee earlier in the week as he made the explanation.
“The players were also here to report the matter but he stated that the team is back in training and the matter, which he described as a small misunderstanding was being sorted internally so we allowed the club to employ its own dispute resolution mechanisms,” KPL CEO Jack Oguda said.
Muhoroni Youth will be hosting Kakamega Homeboyz on Saturday 10 September and will want to quickly forget the debacle.
