Former Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo has admitted he is happy to see Gary Neville struggle in his first managerial job at Valencia.
The 40-year old said the former Manchester United defender was too harsh as a pundit and added that he is now learning that watching the game on TV is quite different from being on the bench.
“To watch a game from the TV, it’s very different than from the bench,” Crespo told FOX Sports.
“I’m almost happy for Gary Neville’s troubles at Valencia. I remember he was too harsh as a TV pundit.”
Crespo however went on to state that the embattled Valencia manager would need time to turn things around at the Mestella.
